It's only been one month since we were sealed in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and i'm already getting complaints about my cooking. It's not Ian that is complaining about my cooking, it's all of our friends. I have had requests from Ian's guy friends saying that they will pay me to teach their wives how to cook. I really didn't think that my cooking was anything special, but I guess that I was wrong. Here are some pictures of some of the meals I have cooked list last month.
Italian chicken, garlic Parmesan potatoes, and steamed asparagus |
BLT made with turkey bacon, spinach, homemade guacamole and fresh tomatoes |
nachos! |
whole wheat spaghetti with baked garlic brussel sprouts |
I can't take all of the credit though for my yummy meals. Some of these ideas have come from my sisters but I have also been a little obsessed with
pintrest.com lately and I have really been enjoying trying new recipes from there. If you don't have a Pintrest account, I would highly recommend getting one soon. It is wonderful.
So here is my plan. I am going keep blogging everyday with meal plans, shopping lists and recipes so I can attempt to introduce them to cooking 101. Even if you know how to cook, maybe I'll post a recipe that you can try at home. Happy cooking!
